Posted Security Guard

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and appropriately
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and clients as needed
• Enforce security protocols and procedures
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Write detailed incident reports as necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• First aid, CPR, or other relevant certifications are a plus
• Prior experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is beneficial
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Proof of US Citizenship (birth certificate, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and Class D security license
• Guards pay starts at $17.00/hour and Supervisory pay range starts at $18.50/hour

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift

• FL Driver's License (Required)
