The Congregational Church of Austin, UCC, is seeking a passionate and collaborative Director of Music to lead our music ministry. We’re a progressive, justice-oriented congregation located in the heart of Austin’s West Campus, and we value dynamic worship that integrates traditional, classical, and justice-themed music.
Position Details:
Part-time (10 hours/week)
Annual Salary: $12,000
Sunday morning worship required
You’ll Be Responsible For:
Rehearsing and conducting the choir
Leading congregational singing
Collaborating with our pastor and instrumental trio
Selecting hymns and choral music
Coordinating music for special services and inviting guest musicians
Supporting a welcoming and diverse worship environment
