Taco del Sol – Now Hiring: Cashier (Front Counter & Drive-Thru)

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Taco del Sol is a fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant serving up authentic Mexican food with bold flavors and fast, friendly service. With a drive-thru and a loyal customer base, we pride ourselves on delivering consistent quality, efficiency, and smiles.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. You’ll be the face of Taco del Sol, providing excellent customer service, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring every guest has a positive experience — whether at the counter or the drive-thru.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Accurately take customer orders (in-person and drive-thru)
Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Ensure order accuracy and coordinate with kitchen team
Keep the front counter, lobby, and drive-thru areas clean and organized
Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverage stations as needed
Assist with opening/closing duties when required
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols

What We’re Looking For:

Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus but not required
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
